What?: The NCLEX tests are created by the
National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).
Both the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LPN/LVN cover a lot
of overlapping material; however, the scoring
and number of questions vary between the exams.
When?: You may schedule the exam once you
have filed an application for licensure (forms
and fees) and have received a scheduling permit
from the board staff.

NCSBN has contracted with Pearson VUE to develop
test material and provide testing sites.
